Our reception will be held at Earlham School of Religion, at 228 College Avenue in Richmond. Refreshments will be served, and there will be a contra dance called by Jim Sizelove, with live music by The Spinels! The reception will begin immediately following the ceremony and last until dinnertime.
Due to road construction in Richmond, it will probably be a good idea to take an alternate route from the ceremony to the reception. We will post directions here as we get closer to the ceremony and know which streets will be clear.
For those of you who are unfamiliar with contra dancing, you are in for a treat! The Indianapolis Contra Dance website has a good explanation of what Contra dancing is, as does Wikipedia.
You may also want to look at some videos showing what a dance looks like.
There are also some good instructional videos on Youtube that illustrate how to perform some of the basic steps.
